Congo Red - Example of pathological findings

Congo Red stain of a temporal artery biopsy form a patient with amyloid angiopathy. Although biopsied to exclude a diagnosis of temporal arteritis, subsequent evaluation revealed a monoclonal gammopathy and multiple myeloma.
