Luckenschadel, inner surface of skull
Luckenschadel, or multiple cranial lacunae, occurs with developmental anomalies producing uneven pressure on the membranous bones the skull during development. Classically, luckenschadel is seen in association with open neural tube defects such as the Chiari II malformation.
