Ependymal Pseudorosette with arrow
This is an example of a pseudorosette. A pseudorosette does not form its own lumen. Instead, it is a radial arrangement of processes around a vessel. Note that the nuclei of the cells are all remote from the vessel. In this image, the vessel is cut lengthwise. You can see a light pink area around the vessel, which are the processes of the cells forming the pseudorosette. The unnecessarily large green arrow in this image points to the red blood cells inside the lumen of the vessel that forms the center of this pseudorosette.
