On FrontalCortex.com, you can create a collection of multimedia resources organized into a coherent structure focused on one topic.

This is considered an online course.

An example of this is the neuropathology course, or the EMG course.

 

Mixing with Face-to-Face Learning

  • During discussion, look up a particular topic, and discuss particular images
  • During discussion, show learner the page and suggest they read more about it
  • Allow fellows to refer to course as a reference during their day-to-day learning


Outcome:

  • The EMG tutorial has received well over 90,000 hits since inception on April 2009.
  • User demand for individual muscles varies; the abductor pollicis brevis page has been requested > 1,732 times.
  • PDA compatibility needed
  • Will have more feedback after October 2010 AANEM meeting
