ANSWERS AND EXPLANATIONS

A) Transverse

This answer is incorrect.

Transverse planes are perpendicular to the long axis of the body. Like if you're in a magician's box and you're cut in half.  (See References)

B) Coronal

This answer is incorrect.

Coronal planes are parallel to the long axis of the body but perpendicular to the sagittal plane. Corona means crown hahaha so imagine putting like a crown headband on.   (See References)

This answer is incorrect.

This isn't even a plane! Rostrum does mean "beak" so it's a direction that means "toward the nose"  (See References)

Sagittal plane goes through the midline and divides the brain into two symmetrical halves. Sagittalmeans arrow so think of it as someone shooting an arrow directly at your face :)  (See References)
