Formal Assessments
Quizzes.
- If we’ve got over 450 multiple choice questions, making a quiz should be possible
Mixing with Face-to-Face Learning
- Present a lecture
- Ask the learner to go take the quiz
Outcome:
- Requires multiple computers close at hand
- Easier to hand out a paper quiz for a small group
Self-Assessment Quizzes

- Example: See questions below on this page
Outcome:
- No results are measured (self-assesment).
Self-Contained Qiuzzes / Continuing Education Quizzes

- Learner takes a quiz at his/her leisure
- Can go back and change his/her answers until results submitted
- Once submitted, scored instantly, results emailed to proctor, and feedback given to learner
Outcome:
- Concept well-received
- Many have taken the sample quiz
- Development still in process
