Proximal Attachment: Humeral head: medial epicondyle of humerus (common flexor tendon); Ulnar head: coronoid process of ulna

Distal Attachment:  Radius

Action:  Pronation of forearm; Flexion of elbow

Needle Insertion:  Two finger breaths distal to the midpoint between the biceps tendon and medial epicondyle.

 Activation for EMG:   Ask patient to pronate forearm isometrically.
