PCA stroke, medial surface of brain
This is a gross brain, bisected at the mid-sagittal plane. We are looking at the medial surface of the left hemisphere. The dark region at the posterior portion of the brain represents infarcted tissue. This individual suffered a left posterior cerebral artery (PCA) infarction.
